WESTFIELD, NJ — Mayor Shelley Brindle and Police Chief Battiloro will host a Facebook Live discussion Thursday at noon about public safety matters in town, and the public can submit questions in advance, the mayor said. Topics may include: Ongoing car burglaries and thefts"Thoughtfully addressing" teen gatherings in Mindowaskin ParkDowntown enforcement plans during outdoor diningThe outcome of the recent police accreditation processAnd more. A previous discussion, held in fall, addressed similar issues, including teens.
