Press release from the City of Fridley: April 7, 2021 Ordinance No. 1390 Amending Chapter 205.17 Uses Allowed with a Special Use Permit The City of Fridley does ordain, after review, examination and staff recommendation that Chapter 205.17, M-1, Light Industrial District Regulations, be added to the Fridley City Code as follows: Fridley City Code Chapter 205.17 M-1, Light Industrial District Regulations Ordinance No. 1390 1. Uses Permitted C. Uses Permitted With a Special Use Permit 15. Animal Rescue Facility contingent upon approval of a Special Use Permit provided the following conditions are met: Animal Rescue's shall be inspected and licensed by the Minnesota Board of Animal Health on an annual basis; An eight-foot solid fence must be constructed to enclose outdoor play area for the safety of the animals and the general public; All animals are kept inside overnight for the safety of the animals and the general public; Animal waste is picked up and properly disposed of daily for the safety of the animals and the general public; and Animal Rescue use shall comply with and meet all code requirements for noise, odor, and manure removal.
