Hi, We are a Portland area-based construction company that is growing. I’m looking to hire a lead carpenter as well as an experienced carpenter, or a carpenter’s helper, that fits into an already great easy-going crew. Here are some notes about the position and some of the attributes that I am looking for: o I like to have my days be enjoyable/fun. Therefore, having an easy-going, positive, and friendly personality is especially important to me. o I am looking for people with carpentry experience, a level of reliability, an aptitude for the work, and a desire to learn. 1 or more years of experience is need for the carpenter’s helper position. For the lead carpenter position, I am looking for someone that I can rely on when I’m not on the job; someone that can lead others and be a foreman when needed. o My projects vary from full renovation (I have one beginning soon), siding, deck construction, painting, renovating kitchens and bathrooms, etc. Therefore, if you have varied experience, that will be welcomed. o Please have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. o We are a smoke free workplace.
