With four highly acclaimed CDs, a #1 Billboard single and multiple Billboard charting songs, over the past thirty years, New York guitarist JJ Sansaverino has reached millions touring the world with his “Benson meets Santana” musical style. An extraordinary performer, JJ has a "take no prisoners" performance attitude, gracing the stage night after night touring on his own or with reggae legend Maxi Priest bringing his vibe of Smooth Jazz, R&B, and Reggae. A Berklee School of Music graduate and award winner, he has shared the stage with the likes of Maceo Parker, Victor Bailey, Gerald Albright, Randy Brecker, Shaggy, Ricky Lawson, Sean Paul, Rick Braun, the Marley Family, and even performed for Sir Paul McCartney's wedding in 2002. With the success of his latest radio hit “Style & Elegance, JJ will be continuing his touring through 2021 supporting his latest CD release “Cocktails & Jazz” from Innervision Records. SAFE Re-OPENING STATEMENT at SOUTH JAZZ CLUB While we are taking it slowly; starting with fewer tables, 50% indoor capacity, and a slightly smaller menu, we are promising to provide the same delicious food, stellar service, and good old southern hospitality for which we are known. We are carefully following all the recommendations of Philadelphia’s Health Department and guidance provided by the State of Pennsylvania, and we ask that you also comply with these regulations. We want everyone; our staff, our guests and our families to be safe. -Tickets are sold at a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4.
