STRONGSVILLE, OH — The Strongsville Rib Burnoff will return this summer.
"The event features ribbers from all around the country, plus lots of sides and free nightly entertainment," the city of Strongsville said in a statement. "Like most events and festivals, it was cancelled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, and could face cancellation again depending on the pandemic situation later this year.:
As vaccination rates continue to expand statewide, the decision was made to bring the Rib Burnoff back in 2021. Unlike other years, however, the event will not be held in June.
Instead, the 2021 Strongsville Rib Burnoff will be held August 12 to August 14 on the Strongsville Commons.
"We look forward to seeing you this year," the Strongsville City Club said on Facebook.
More updates on the event could be forthcoming, the City Club hinted on social media.
We just got word that the Strongsville City Club is planning to have the Rib Burnoff this year! It won't be in June,...Posted by City of Strongsville Government on Tuesday, April 6, 2021
