ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Health officials in Illinois are continuing to see an uptick in coronavirus cases across the state. The Illinois Department of Public Health reported Wednesday 3,790 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 in Illinois, including 28 additional deaths. In Arlington Heights, cases have been rising for the last month after a drastic drop in cases to start 2021. As of Thursday, there have been 6,074 confirmed coronavirus-related cases in Arlington Heights, according to the Cook County Department of Public Health.
