When I first arrived from overseas in 2009 it was a breathe of fresh air. I come from Soviet Union Russia. Communism is a terrible terrible thing. When I first came here people would go out of there way to help you. Now people go out of there way to make me feel like scum. I wish Portland can go back to the way it used to be, but I see the rule, mandates and regulations as a memory of my childhood and I’m not sure there is hope.
