HOOVER, AL — Spring is a great time to clean the house, hence the traditional term of "spring cleaning," and the City of Hoover is giving residents the chance to safely dispose of any hazardous household items they may have in their homes. Household Hazardous Waste Day in Hoover is set for April 17 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hoover Public Safety building, 2020 Valleydale Road.
