Yoga for Bone & Joint Health - A 6-week series Mondays, 9:30-11a, 4/26-6/7, 2021, via ZOOM.  As we age, our bones and joints begin to deteriorate with wear and tear, often resulting in arthritis or osteoporosis. Yoga presents positive side effects for these conditions, including improved posture, balance, and gait. This series includes a short lecture at the beginning of each class where we’ll explore holistic and ayurvedic nutritional tips and practices for supporting bone and joint function, with simple methods of tracking improvement and dietary adjustments. Then we will practice an hour of yoga designed to not only help enhance circulation, coordination, range of motion, and strength, but also reduce pain, improve function, and bring about a more positive mental state.
