Assistant Needed - Family childcare

We’re looking for a very flexible and cheerful person who loves to work with children ages 6 weeks to 9 years of age. This is a high quality home childcare/preschool program that is licensed for 14 children and meet the maximum on a daily basis. Applicant must be comfortable with different age groups. Experience is not necessary, I am willing to train the right person however, I am looking for someone long term. Requirements for this position: 1. Proof of CPR/First Aid Certification 2. Current TB Test required not older than 2 years 3. Will be required to have a finger print clearance scan 4. Will be required to have a background check 5. Willing to attend at least 2 professional trainings per year (paid by provider) 6. Willing to get a Food Handlers Card (Paid by provider) 7. Reliable transportation a must Job Description: *Monday through Friday *Hours range from anywhere between 7:00am to 5:00pm (must be willing to work flexible hours) the most common hours fall between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm *Total hours per week range anywhere between 30 to 40 hours per week. *Assisting provider with reading, art, preschool activities, outside play, music, etc. *Daily housekeeping duties and willing to help with everything. *On occasion lunch preparation duties *Daily diaper changing *Daily drop/pick up of elementary/middle school children (must have a valid CA drivers license, use of provider’s car) *Must be dependable and always on time *Self motivator, if you see something that needs to be done and willing to help out with everything. Pay Staring pay is $14-16 per hour (Depending on qualifications) *10 paid holidays (If working full time) *2 weeks off during winter vacation (Paid)
