**We want to Hire You!** Division 7 Services, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Sheet Metal Installer in the Los Angeles Area. This position will be part of a team of experienced construction professionals specializing in Architectural Sheet Metal designs and installations. We specialize in fabrication and installation of Architectural Sheet Metal, Metal siding and cladding and ACM Panels in Southern CA. SUMMARY OF POSITION: Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites Maneuver large sheet metal parts to be installed, and anchor the parts Install assemblies, such as flashing, coping, sill, siding, rain gutters, and down spouts, in supportive frameworks Secure metal panels in place, then interlock and fasten grooved panel edges Maneuver completed units into position for installation, and anchor the units Qualifications: 3+ years’ experience Architectural Sheet Metal Read and interpret blueprints Must have reliable transportation to report to job sites Must have your own tools to perform the work of your trade Experience with Standing Seam Roofs Experience with Wall Cladding Systems Experience in Sheet Metal Installation including Gutter, Downspouts, Coping, Counter Flashing, Sill and Head Metal Flashing, etc. Must possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Must possess a valid California Driver’s License Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam Knowledge of commercial construction methods, policies, and procedures Ability to read and understand civil, architectural, structural, mechanical plans and specifications as they relate to commercial construction Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with great ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines Exceptional interpersonal communication, presentation, and writing skills Strong attention to detail required to execute tasks Ability to multi-task, prioritize and possess strong time-management skills Well organized, team player, professional and energetic Be accountable for project decisions and actions Must have references and proven past work history record. This position typically works 7am to 3:30pm 8-hour shift with occasional overtime.
