Busy Construction Company is looking to hire an experienced Sub-Contractors to assist with small to medium construction projects and repairs. This position requires a self-motivated person who needs little to no supervision and is able to pay very close attention to details. Requires someone who is able to lift heavy materials/equipment without any assistance. Must be able provide proof of their current Worker's Compensation and Liability Insurance upon request. Requirements: 3-5 Years Experience in the Construction Industry Bi-Lingual Preferred Driver's License Must own Truck/Work Van Workers Compensation and Liability Policy US work authorization Skills: Kitchen Remodeling Bathroom Remodeling Sheetrock Taping/Spackling Painting Exterior and Interior Finishing Flexible Schedule Punctual Detail Oriented Job Duties: Understanding customer requirements Responding to change orders Managing peers (dividing job tasks, working as a team) Recommending job improvements, alternative methods, etc. (problem solving) Knowledge of building codes and regulations Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations (OSHA) COVID-19 Precaution(s): Personal protective equipment required Social distancing guidelines in place Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place Location: Nassau and Suffolk County
