Company Name: Confidential Summary: Established sheet metal manufacturing company looking to fill a full-time Sheet Metal Assembly position. This position is responsible for assembling truck toolboxes and fuel tanks and following packaging processes according to established operating procedures. No experience necessary, training is provided. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7AM – 4PM. Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Performs assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions. • Follows supervisors’ instructions of work to be performed. • Self-inspects work to ensure quality and compliance to specifications. • Follows safety instructions and rules. • Maintains a clean and safe work area. • Reports issues with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisor. • Notifies supervisor of any build or quality issues for resolution. • Assembles parts according to process sheet/print instructions. • Other duties as required per department. Qualifications: • Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques. • Self-motivated and detail-oriented. • Team-oriented. • Ability to read a tape measure. • Ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks. • Ability to use hand tools and power tools such as socket wrenches, screwdrivers, sanders, drills, riveters and grinders. • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Pay Rate: $16 per hour. Benefits: Medical insurance after 90 days of continuous employment and paid time off.
