Applied Behavior Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician. This position will be responsible for ensuring the Sacramento and surrounding locations are being maintained. Ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently with minimal Supervision. Two years of experience is helpful, but not required. Examples of Responsibilities: • Performs various carpentry, plumbing, painting and dry wall duties • Performs any duties needed in order to maintain building and property • Handles facility and equipment preventive maintenance • Performs regular inventory updates of equipment, fixtures, furniture and building space Qualifications: • Preferred skills include: drywall, texture, paint, plumbing, basic carpentry, with knowledge and/or ability to learn HVAC, etc. • Experience working with plumbing and general all-around knowledge of building repair/maintenance • Excellent problem diagnosis and analytical skills along with attention to detail and strong organizational skills Other Requirements: • Minimum High School Diploma or GED • Must have proof car insurance • Knowledge of facilities building codes and requirements • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and effectively manage conflicts and assignments under time constraints and changing priorities • Current TB skin test • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing • Must be able to travel to locations in the Sacramento area Hours: • Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (flexible) • Ability to work 40hours per week Compensation: $21-$24/hr DOE Benefits: Sick/Vacation/Personal Day accrual Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits Employee Stock Ownership Program
