4-year-old female Rainbow Lorikeet named LUNA. She is gorgeous from head to toe and very healthy. She is active, friendly, loves to take baths, talks some, whistles and chatters a bunch. She sometimes tells the dogs to "come on" and occasionally tells them to "shut up". She seems to prefer men, she's much more loving towards men than women if she has a choice. If she didn't have a choice I think she would bond well with a woman but if given an option she's gonna snuggle up with a guy. She can be very tame and playful snuggled in your hand or on your neck, she especially likes sitting on your head and messing with your hair. She LOVES taking big splashy wet baths. She likes to listen to bird sounds and music. The Lorikeet's tongue is designed for nectar so she's not a seed eater AT ALL. She has primarily been fed Blessings Gourmet powder and applesauce with the occasional grape or small piece of juicy fruit. She needs a home where someone has time to spend with her out of her cage daily. She is sweet and entertaining but not getting the attention she deserves. We need to re-home her so she can get the home she needs. We have a white cage on rollers for her but the door latch just broke (might be able to be fixed), we have a wrought iron play pen, lots of bowls, toys, a small shower bar, and a bit of food if you're interested in those things as well. You would need to bring a large car/van/truck to take everything at once. She could be transported by herself in a small crate if you have one.
