Description
As the title states, I'm a guitarist looking to see what's out there in regards to local East Bay musicians who might be interested in casually jamming if we share some interests.
A little about myself, I'm a 32, I've been playing guitar since I was a kid. I'm into rock, jazz, metal, blues, classical, and endless sub-genres born of those styles and they reflect themselves in my playing in different ways, I enjoy playing everything from Maiden to Django to spacy lydian indie sounds to blues rock to Bossa Nova to flamenco, I love music and am looking to see about playing with others. I'm well enough versed in theory to be able to improv a lot of this kind of stuff.
Gear wise I have a few electric guitars (strat and les paul), I have classical and dreadnaught acoustics, and a pretty portable 30 watt tube combo amp. I'm open to pretty much anything one has in mind at this point, from playing rock based stuff with a drummer and or bass player, to jamming on acoustic instruments on a sunny day, if what you read here has piqued your interest and you're around here hit me up and we can talk about this further.
