Description
The Montana Association for the Blind will be holding its summer program for newly blind adults in Billings this summer from mid-June to mid-July. We are in need of a part-time sewing instructor. This would involve teaching 2-4 hours per day (depending on student interest in the class), 5 days a week, for 4 weeks. Some students come in with some sewing skills while others want to try it for the first time. Students have made a variety of items in the past - from place mats to quilts to baby clothes. It is fun and rewarding work with the students, and the staff is there to help you if you have never taught before.
