The Nathan Kline Institute is working with Montefiore Medical Center to recruit adolescents for an MRI study. HAS YOUR CHILD BEEN EXPERIENCING... Sadness, Irritability, Low self-esteem, Social withdrawal, Decreased energy, Difficulty having fun, Impaired concentration, Sleep or appetite disturbances, Thoughts of hurting themselves, Attempts at hurting themselves Ages 12-17 Eligible participants are: - Experiencing symptoms of depression - Between 12-17 years old - Not taking any psychotropic medications 2 Visits 1. Participants and a parent will go through a clinical evaluation (remotely or in-person). 2. The participant will have a blood draw and MRI scan. Your child will be compensated for the blood draw ($50) and scan ($130) and can win up to $60 in a game played in the MRI, totaling to about $240 Interested? Questions about the study?
