In this position you will be a member of a parking lot striping team and you will be working on commercial, state and federal property. AA Striping, Inc. is currently seeking full-time paint stripers who are able and willing up to work 60 hours per week. This is an hourly position with wages depending on experience with early mornings and some late evenings will be required. Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado Duties: Paint Striper – use a push behind paint machine. Striper machine maintenance and basic knowledge Layout – help with layout of new and existing parking lots Laborer – general cleaning with push broom and backpack blower. Carrying of 5 gal paint buckets, parking blocks, and other various equipment Requirements: 18 years of age or older Physically fit and able to handle a fast pace work site. Able to lift and carry loads up to 50lbs in elevations ranging from 6,000 to 10,000 feet Possess a valid Colorado driver’s license Have the ability and desire to perform strenuous outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions Lift and carry up to 50lbs. Bend, squat, kneel, and twist continuously throughout the day Preferred Background & Experience: 1 year of experience with the use of a push behind paint striping machine is required 1 year of experience of parking lot layout is preferred, but not required Experience with supervising staff is preferred, but not required Other Qualities: Self motivated, hard working and self sufficient. Leadership qualities and teacher/student mentality Job Type: Full-time Salary: $14.00 to $16.00 /hour
