Republican politicians remind me of the record label executives of the eighties who refused to acknowledge the digital revolution. Thinking that because they had the money and the power, things could not change unless they said so. The country is changing without them and now they are scrambling to stay in the game. Four years ago I would have said the same about Democratic politicians as well. However, they saw a way to weaken the Republican party, so they are making these huge moves to change things. I don't believe for a minute that the best interst of the country as a whole has much to do with these changes. The past four years have shown us that the parties mean more than the country to both of them This is the age of Aquarius. The chimpanzee era is over. Time for the bonobo to reign.
