Copper Creek, formerly Shooters on Ritchie Hwy, is having open mic nights every Thursday night. Hosted by local musicians Chuck Gender and Bob Quinlan. Chuck has played many years in the area with the band Shifting Gears. Bob was lead vocalist and guitarist for popular local bands Zig Zag, 3 Legged Dog, and Meerkat Nation. Come out and bring your instrument and play a few tunes or sing. Let's make Thursdays a great jam for local musicians. As a side note Meerkat Nation has just reformed with all 3 original members. Chris Cockey on bass, Andy Fuller on drums, and Bob doing vocals and guitar. Look for them soon to be back out on the scene.
