— Job Summary — Clear Construction is a growing general contracting company specializing in high-end residential construction serving Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. We are seeking an efficient, communicative, and safety-minded skilled laborer to participate in day-to-day, on-site activities and work collaboratively with construction team. Applicants should have residential construction industry experience and access to reliable transportation. — Responsibilities — - Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites - Lift heavy loads up to 80 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain - Dig pits, trenches and foundations in preparation for job site construction - Back-fill trenches and pits when necessary - Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, hammer, Sawzall, Skilsaw, and a variety of other equipment - Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site - Clean and prepare sites, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials - Run project errands including pick-up and drop off tools and materials - Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew — Skills — - Understanding of the building process - Capable of working with minimal oversight, but willing to follow directions closely - Attention to detail and high quality standards - Organizational skills - Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines - Self-motivated problem solver - Familiar with industry safety standards - Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures — Experience — - 2 to 7 years construction industry experience - High school diploma/GED — Compensation — - Competitive pay - Consistent work schedule - Based on experience and skills - Opportunity for growth — Benefits — - Great team environment - Paid Time Off - Eligible for health insurance benefits www.clearconstruction.com
