Experienced Hardscape Project Manager compensation: $20-$24 employment type: full-time Jay’s Lawn & Landscape Co. is a full service landscaping contractor serving the greater Triangle community for over 20 years. We are committed to providing quality and reliable landscape and hardscape services to our clients and companies. We design and install commercial, public, and high-end residential projects that are architecturally sound and aesthetically pleasing. As a Experienced Hardscape Project Manager, you will lead and work alongside a crew responsible for commercial and/or high end residential hardscape installation. This is a full time, year round position. You will report to the owner of the company. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Supervise, develop and motivate an Install crew of 2 to 6 team members. Maintain a professional, polite and clean presentation of the team, the equipment and self. Installation of hardscapes, irrigation, other various landscaping projects. Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks/trailers safely. Plan, coordinate and collect equipment/materials each day to perform the tasks at hand. Complete required daily field reports, timesheets, and coordinating scheduling. Identify and facilitate resolution of any problems that occur on job sites. Oversee maintenance of equipment and notify owner of required repairs. Following up with projects & tasks with owner. Enforce all safety protocol and procedures. Maintain on site communications with team members, clients, contractors and/or subcontractors in a professional polite manner. The Leader we are looking for will: Have minimum of 3 years supervisory experience. Have managed an installation crew of 2 to 6 employees. Be dependable with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor. Have reliable transportation to office in Wendell Have some knowledge and experience with irrigation systems and controllers. Have extensive knowledge and experience with installing patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens and more. Possess a valid NCDL with a clean driving record and be able to drive a landscape truck while pulling a loaded trailer if needed. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Be able to bend and stoop on a continuous basis. Be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Wear all company provided safety equipment as well as follow all safety protocol and procedures. Bi-lingual - a plus but not required. Be able to pass any required background check and drug test. Starting pay is $20-$24 per hour.
