Stoughton Health has an excellent employment opportunity for a full-time Housekeeper to work the evening shift who is detail oriented and desires to be a part of a great infection prevention team. This position works independently cleaning day surgery rooms and all other patient rooms. This includes wiping down equipment, mopping, walls, and all critical high touch points. Dusts and damp mops floors in patient and exam rooms, corridors, stairwells, restrooms and other areas of the facility. Gathers and disposes recyclables, trash, and medical waste. Collects hazardous trash following established infection control guidelines. Requires ability to read and write English and interpret measuring and hazard instructions on labels and able to maintain the challenging and physical demands of the job such as standing, walking, stooping, twisting, lifting, bending, pushing, and reaching. Must have basic computer competency skills. Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a healthcare setting is not required however it is desirable. * Full-time, 2nd shift, Monday thru Friday, 2pm - 10:30pm, and occasional weekends.
