Job Overview:
Hiring a savvy handy person for a Maintenance Technician position. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep of vacant and occupied apartments, commercial, clinics, common areas, building systems and building equipment within the assigned portfolio. The Tech will ensure vacant apartments are restored to market-ready status, within the allotted time frame and respond to work orders in accordance with company policies and procedures for all assigned properties. The Tech is required to maintain current knowledge of OSHA protocols and REAC scores and ensure the highest work standards are met throughout all Cascadia buildings. This role contributes to the Housing Department’s short and long-range strategies and goals as they relate to the creation and preservation of value for all Cascadia properties.
Who you are and your qualifications:
You're into working for a mission driven organization. You have about 1-2 years of experience in maintenance related work, knowledge of HVAC, security and other building systems.
Comp and Benies:
Starting is $20/hr. - $22.06/hr. New hires with less than 3-years experience will start at the minimum and those with over 10-years experience will start at the maximum. We take into consideration experience and licenses/certification beyond the minimum requirement.
This position includes a paid time off accrual at a rate so generous, it equals to about 6-weeks a year. If you remove the 10 observed holidays, this is about 4-weeks a year, not to mention affordable medical and dental, and other great benefits!
