Pallet Consultants is a fast-growing pallet manufacturer looking for pallet builders. We make wooden pallets – which are used every day to transport almost every type of product, tool or machine you can imagine! Pallets are what make our economy and supply chains work. We need flexible, friendly and hardworking individuals to help build and repair wooden pallets to our specifications and standards using nail guns, hammers and other tools. Position Description: Be a crucial part of our manufacturing process at a pallet production and repair facility that produces millions of pallets annually. In this role, you’ll gather materials for pallet orders and create a finished product. While working on your feet, you’ll build pallets with nail guns and pneumatic staplers, inspect your work and verify production logs. Safety is also a priority for all team members! The ideal candidate is: A quick learner who has the desire to become a key part of our facility. We provide detailed training to prepare you for the unique demands for the pallet industry. Ideal candidates will be able to take the lead themselves in some tasks after learning their role in our operation while maintaining our high quality control, efficiency and punctuality standards. Favored candidates have a good work ethic, can work well with their teams, have a positive attitude and takes safety seriously. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Gather and sort building materials Follow instructions and orders to make pallets meeting our requirements Visually check pallets for quality and grade them Communicate with facility General Manager, Dispatch Manager and other office staff to ensure delivery schedules are maintained and client standards are met Be able to prioritize certain orders and manage time well as we sometimes receive emergency orders that must be addressed immediately Keeping your work area clean, and maintaining all equipment Fulfill your duties and operate equipment safely Must be able to pass an initial drug screen, and have 2 forms of ID
