Description
The weather is starting to get nice. I am a guy that is looking to go hiking with another guy and have good conversations during our meetings. Hiking in the morning woods, afternoon wood or evening wood would be fun.
I have numerous interests and would be great if you had similar interests. If your interests are similar to mine we can have some good conversations.
My interests include,
Astronomy:
Can discuss what is the minimum velocity for probes to escape the gravitational pull from the back side of the moon and from the planet Uranus.
Measurements of the radial velocity and proper motion of a probe in order to plot the movement of the probe through the Milky Way galaxy.
Mechanical Engineering:
Creative architecture designs with Erector Sets.
The best types of lubrication to use in order to reduce friction between parts.
Volcanism:
What causes magma to rise through the volcano shaft towards the surface. If magma reaches the surface, its behavior depends on the viscosity of the fluid constituent rock. Viscous (thick) magma produces volcanoes characterized by explosive eruptions, while non-viscous (runny) magma produce volcanoes characterized by effusive eruptions pouring large amounts of lava onto the surface.
How far can an eruption spew hot steamy magma.
Magnetism:
What is the best position to align the poles for maximum attraction.
Reptiles – Snakes:
Which types of rocks and holes are the most attractive for snakes to slither under and into.
What is the average size of snakes.
Spitting snakes – How far can they spit and the typical amount of fluid when they spit.
