Description
On 3-20-21, a white lab mix dog was brought to the Austin Animal Center as a stray. He was found in the 78621 zip code. He is about 2 years old, has been neutered, has tan spots on his ears and along his back and black/gray spots on his face and tummy. He has a curly tail. He is very affectionate.
We adopted him on 3-26-21 from the shelter. Since then, we have noticed that he didn't understand dog toys, dog bed, TV noises, wasn't house trained, didn't know how to jump in a car, doesn't want to go on walks but wants to be outside and with us all the time. He is friendly with strangers and interested in other dogs. We think he may have been the companion to a homeless person. Someone is missing this sweet dog.
We love this dog, and he is acclimating well to a house and fenced yard and neighbors, however, we would like whoever lost this dog to know that he is happy and well. I know if my dog disappeared or was taken from me, I would want to know that and could stop worrying about him. He has been microchipped now.
