To perform tasks under general supervision on roadwork projects involving installation and preparation of highway lighting and signalization equipment.
Tasks would include, but not limited to:
* Hand digging and backfilling trenches for installation of conduit and pull boxes.
* Daily Loading and unloading of job equipment and supplies onto company trucks.
* Additional duties required.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or carry 50 pounds. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, crouch or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to climb on and off equipment.
Start time is 6AM, Monday thru Thursday (Occasional Overtime). Normal work weeks are 4 - 10 hour days or nights & 3 Day weekend.
Experience with shovels, rakes and air tools.
The ability to work with others and follow directions. Be safety conscious.
