Gardening help for Japanese Garden

Jobs

S. Forest near Granger, Ann Arbor MI

Description

One exceptional and perspicacious person wanted to help with spring cleanup in my Japanese garden. College degree and 10 years’ post-college professional experience preferred, in any field. Knowledge of botany, horticulture, or landscaping a plus, but not required. Tasks include weeding, sorting rocks, raking leaves, and moving plants. It does not require strength but, rather, care and tenacity. Overall, I am looking for someone who understands the garden aesthetic and can enhance its beauty and tranquility. Pay is $20/hour. Please reply in any way you feel expresses your interest and qualifications. Work volume is approximately 5 to 10 hours per week through June, with flexible hours adapted to weather and your schedule. Help is likely needed again in the fall also. If you have the ideal qualifications, you will hear from me promptly.
