Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse job for a small manufacturing company specializing in window coverings (window shades, mini blinds, vertical blinds) and hospital privacy curtains and tracks
Primary responsibilities:
Receive goods, verify items received, inspect condition
Gather, verify and pack items for shipment
Assemble parts for curtain tracks including cutting and bending aluminum tracks
Prepare weekly inventory reports and monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages
Experience operating forklift
Ability to lift 100 lbs.
Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
Must be able to write using proper spelling and grammar to communicate effectively
with supervisors and co-workers and prepare necessary documents for receiving
and shipping activities
Must be able to apply necessary math skills including addition, subtraction,
multiplication and decimals for verifying product dimensions and to make calculations
for bending curtain tracks
Maintain safe and clean workplace
Drive company vehicle for pick-up and delivery as required.
Additional requirements:
PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL AND DRUG SCREENING
HAVE AND MAINTAIN VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
AND DEPENDABLE TRANSPORTATION TO & FROM WORK
FULL TIME: 40 hrs. per week
Location: Fullerton, CA
Compensation: $15.00 Hr.
