Circle K is looking for a Preventative Maintenance & Service Technician! Maintain store operations by conducting preventative maintenance and repairing Convenience Store equipment; performs general maintenance work in stores. REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or GED preferred 3-5 years’ experience in the maintenance field 1-2 years’ experience in plumbing or HVAC/refrigeration preferred Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be insurable as a driver Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and ability to work independently Highly organized and work well under pressure/deadlines with the ability to multi-task Overnight travel will be required approximately 15% of the time PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Ability to crouch, crawl, push, pull, bend, stoop and/or reach • Ability to carry, erect and climb ladders • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT • Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and performing preventative maintenance • Maintains facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, cleaning, lighting and painting. • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs • Ensures preventative repairs are performed cost effectively by examining records, reports operating practices and other documentation • Participate in training classes for existing and new equipment • Ensures maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operation policies and procedures • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed • Maintain a professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by abiding to safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local requirements
