SUMMARY: The Temporary Facilities Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly workplace by successfully performing the duties and responsibilities of the position. The successful candidate must be available to work Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This position may require use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following • Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space. • Sanitizes high touch areas. • Washes windows, shampoos carpets, and launders cleaning rags. • Clean, sanitize and restock restrooms, showers, lunchroom, kitchen and kitchenettes. • Empties trash from garbage containers and transfers to dumpster. • Cleans and maintains warehouse and production area floors. • Assists Facilities Manager with special projects as needed. • Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk, including spreading salt on parking lot and sidewalks if icy. • Notifies management of any necessary repairs noticed, including light bulb replacement, carpet damage, etc. • Breaks down boxes for recycling. • The above listed duties are subject to change and or modification at management’s discretion. • Other duties may be assigned. • MUST LOVE GUNS! EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
