Located in Grandview, MO., we are experiencing organizational growth that requires a new Irrigation Crew Leader to join our team immediately! Reporting to the Director of Field Operations, this non-exempt position is responsible for supporting all residential and commercial sprinkler system tasks within the Kansas City metropolitan areas, efficiently, timely, and accurately. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING: • Installing new Rain Bird and Hunter irrigation systems; • Providing upgrades to existing irrigation and drainage systems to maximize water efficiency; • Installing and performing repairs on in ground drainage systems. • Installing foundation watering systems, as well as servicing and repairing all irrigation brands; • Conducting backflow certification and testing of lawn and fire sprinkler systems (if you are certified); • Performing Spring start-ups and adjustments, and system Winterization; and • Managing a multi-person team devoted to professionalism, growth, and customer service. QUALIFICATIONS: • At least one year of professional irrigation, sprinkler system, and/or water management experience similar to that presented above. • Strong communication skills, and an aptitude to remain detail oriented in a fast-paced environment, and a sense of personal accountability to achieve stated business goals with a positive, mature, and team-based attitude. • Ability to operate a truck or truck/trailer combination, or a truck with a landscape body or dump. • Clean driving record.
