We reached into the peach ring bin at the same time in the bulk section at Winco. Only few in this world know that Winco bulk peach rings are the softest, most joyous sweets. We looked into each other’s eyes, gently pulled the other’s mask off, fed each other a single peach ring, and parted ways. I will never forget you, but I would love to see you again if possible. I have left a trail of peach rings from the Winco on State Street to my apartment. Please hurry because I saw a group of children following and eating my trail.
