..Awesome opportunity to work with a private contractor fighting wildland fires for the 2021 season.. Last year our first fire was April 21, with the season ending in Oct.! ..Seeking strong candidate(s) for on call, contract positions.. this requires: answering the call/text from dispatch, a 45 min or less arrival to roll-out location, ability to be on rotation (maybe out of town) for up to 2-3 wks/12-14 hrs a day and get some work done as well?!.. ***previous wildland fire or woods experience is a plus.*** ..Basic Wildfire and Fire-line Safety Training is required and provided, this is ongoing and ending soon. We'll do a phone interview, maybe schedule a meet and greet, potentially go out cutting/demonstrate competency, complete fire safety training, then name goes on the roster. ..When out on fires, we're known to be: safe, professional, efficient, accountable and maintain a solid reputation amongst our peers and the firefighting community. POSITION: 1..Engine Crew.. (FFT1 or 2) 2..Sawyer/Faller... (FAL2 or 3) 3..Class "C" Faller w/3yrs current exp.. (FAL1) 4..Wildland Fire Entry Level Position...
