LOCATION MAINTENANCE & REPAIR TECHNICIAN – Lake Charles, LA On-call - 2 fitness locations in the defined area (60 mile radius) $20.00 per hour + mileage reimbursement Night, weekend, and holiday availability may be required COMPANY BACKGROUND Smarte Carte, Inc. is the leading concessionaire of self-serve vended luggage carts, electronic lockers, commercial strollers and massage chairs, as well as other passenger and guest services. BASIC FUNCTION The On-call Location Maintenance and Repair Technician is responsible for service and maintenance of massage chairs at fitness club locations in the Lake Charles, LA area. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintenance and repair of equipment Maintain clean equipment Maintain policy and procedure expectations of the facility and Smarte Carte Maintain regular contact with District Service Manager Maintain a positive relationship with the facility management Other assignments as needed. EDUCATION Associates or Technical degree preferred SKILLS Working knowledge of equipment Electrical and mechanical equipment repair Excellent verbal and written communication Maintain accurate records Proficient in computer and Smartphone use PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Lift 40 lbs. to waist height Push/Pull 75-100 lbs. Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time Visual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS Valid Drivers license required Experience Preferred Previous experience with route based technical repairs preferred Education Preferred Technical/other training or better in Electronics Technology or related field Licenses & Certifications Required Drivers License Skills Required Time Management Customer Service Cleaning Problem Solving Trobleshooting Communication Preferred Reporting Prioritizing Attention to detail Behaviors Required Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Preferred Innovative: Consistently introduces new ideas and demonstrates original thinking Motivations Required Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help
