You must apply online at: We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, hands-on leader to manage our recycling team. This full-time, permanent position is physically demanding and requires someone who is accustomed to getting dirty and working hard in any weather conditions. You must apply online at: Essential job functions: • Responsible for the safety & training of all on-site employees • Exercise proper authority in hiring, promoting, reprimanding, and terminating according to the law o Schedule for all shifts (accounting for holidays & time off) to ensure adequate coverage o Maintain appropriate staffing and equipment to meet customer/exceed expectations • Responsible for safe sorting, baling, weighing & loading of materials such as cardboard, plastic & bladders • Maintain customer-service focus, especially when handling calls from customer's management • Responsible for ensuring Health & Safety plan is followed • Responsible for fork truck training & licensing • Any other tasks as needed/assigned Knowledge, skills, and abilities required: • Ability to work 45+ hours/week and any day/shift to ensure customer & employee needs are met. • Responsible for the safety & training of all on-site employees • Exercise proper authority in hiring, promoting, reprimanding, and terminating according to the law o Schedule for all shifts (accounting for holidays & time off) to ensure adequate coverage o Maintain appropriate staffing and equipment to meet customer/exceed expectations • Responsible for safe sorting, baling, weighing & loading of materials such as cardboard, plastic & bladders • Maintain customer-service focus, especially when handling calls from customer's management • Responsible for ensuring Health & Safety plan is followed • Responsible for fork truck training & licensing • Any other tasks as needed/assigned • Previous experience in manufacturing/Tire Plants preferred Physical requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older Able to lift at least 70 lbs Ability to stand, sit, lay, reach, bend, lift, push, pull, drive, and maintain focus for sustained periods of time Ability to safely & effectively work in an environment which may be exposed to extreme heat and cold
