14404 US Hwy. 19 near 3 1/2 miles north of Walmart on west side of highway, Chiefland FL
Description
I am adding another auction helper to our staff. The job will consist of general work around the auction house. You would be traveling with the rest of the crew going to pickup local estates that we have purchased. Packing and loading the contents from the estate. Returning to the auction house unloading, sorting the merchandise throwing anything that we consider "junk" away and any of the better merchandise setting it out to be displayed and offered for the next upcoming auction. This is a rather simple job but can learn quite a lot from it.
The pay for this job starts at $11.50 per hour while in training. Also you would be working the auction on Tuesday and Friday nights. These auctions run between 2 1/2 to 4 hours per auction. The pay for working the auction is separate from regular auction pay. Working the auction pays a flat $50 per auction whether it is a 2 1/2 hour auction or a 4 hour auction. We pay cash every Friday.
The work schedule will be: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30 to 5:00 and Tuesday and Friday 8:30 to 12:00 noon. Then on Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00 noon for customers to pickup items that they have bought at Friday's auction. Returning at 5:30 on Tuesday and Fridays to work the floor at the auction.
If interested in the position or have a question you can contact me by phone call or by texting me at: 352-356-1065
If you are familiar with hand tools and have helped in moving furniture before will be a big plus but not necessary.
This is for immediate employment.
This is a rather long drive from the Gainesville area and would prefer someone from the local area.
