Seeking a part-time Maintenance Tech (independent contractor) to assist on a regular basis in the maintenance and repair of Peanut Crossing of Suffolk. Position utilizes skills to perform preventive maintenance and basic corrective repairs of building systems and grounds. Monitors building operations and maintains buildings and grounds as directed by the Property Manager. Position utilizes several basic skill sets as needed such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling. Position troubleshoots emergency issues while assisting in coordinating and monitoring resources and resolutions. Operates lawnmowers, weed trimmers, leaf blowers and other ground maintenance equipment to maintain landscaping, and collects litter and garbage from property grounds. Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed. Participates in “on-call” assignments as management assigns. Perform other duties as assigned.
