Property Maintenance Technician Are you handy? Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment where “the job” is different every day? If so, we want to talk to you! Prairie Real Estate Group is accepting applications for a full-time property maintenance technician to maintain various buildings and commercial properties in the Benton Harbor/St. Joseph area. Your general responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Performing basic repairs and maintenance in the areas of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and/or carpentry - including tasks such as filter changes, light bulb replacement, etc. • Maintaining lawns, using power mowers, line trimmers and edgers • Removing snow from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt in those areas • Gathering and removing litter • Providing proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters, or other grounds features • Performing general interior cleaning activities such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting and window cleaning • Attending and participating in morning team meetings • Understanding and adhering to safety procedures • Keeping and recording accurate timesheets at day’s end • Other duties as assigned We’ll need you to have the following capabilities: • Must be 18 years of age • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Ability to safely operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, edgers, line trimmers, tractors, pressure washers, snow blowers, chain saws, electric clippers, and pruning saws • Ability to use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes • Ability to use interior cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers • Ability to follow project instructions from manager or supervisor • Adhere to company rules and regulations • Must maintain a tidy and safe workspace And most of all, we’ll need you to possess a positive attitude, a great work ethic, and have a team spirit!
