***** LOOKING FOR IMMEDIATE HIRES****** FIRE GUARD/PORTERS NEEDED FOR A SHELTER FACILITY MAINTENACE/PORTERS NEEDED FOR A SHELTER FACILITY LOOKING FOR IMMEDIATE START. Compensation: $15 hour day shifts, $16 hour overnight shifts Employment type: Part-time available Must Speak Fluent English, Spanish preferably FIRE GUARD/PORTERS POSITION: The position requires someone to control the traffic in the front entrance, sign in guest, assist guest with request, patrol the hallways, conduct fire drills, monitor the camera and fire alarm panel, maintain clean the front entrance interior and exterior, reporting incidents to the Superintendent; Supervisor; Building Manager on a daily basis. You will receive paid training. Experience working in a shelter facility preferred. Brooklyn resident preferred. MAINTENACE/PORTERS POSITION: The position requires staff to consistently monitor and maintenance clean all common areas and community bathrooms. Cleaning duties include, cleaning & maintaining clean standup showers, toilets, sinks, sweeping and mopping bathroom floor, hallway and lobby floors, stairwell, and all common areas as directed. As well as replenishment of paper towels, toilet paper, shower curtains, toilet seats as needed. You will receive paid training. Experience working in a shelter facility preferred.
