He is now 11 1/2 months weighs 65 lbs and stands 28" at the shoulders. He is a smart, clever and goofy friend that loves belly rubs and can be a mush He loves a good Rawhide to chew on and a game of Tug-o-war. He is housebroken and knows his name and: Sit-Stay-Leave it-Down-Give me paw-Other Paw-Sit pretty-Walk & Out (as a question & command) His mix of breeds makes for a high energy but trainable dog who needs a lot of intellectual stimulation and playtime. This is NOT an apartment dog. He needs doggy buddies and humans that are active. He is very affectionate and will jump up to your face and lick - lick-lick. He will sit and stay when it is feeding time and will sleep in his own bed all night. He has STRONG herding instincts as well as treeing/running to ground. He is not socialized with other dogs - though he wants to be their friend. Because of his jumping and herding he is NOT good in a home with small children or frail older folks - he can potentially knock them down.
