Atkinson Resort & Country Club is accepting applications and resumes for full time, part time, and seasonal golf course staff on our 18 hole golf course and our Par 3 course. A grounds crew member at the Atkinson Resort and Country Club (ARCC) will be asked to maintain the property of the club as directed by the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendents. The job description below is a brief synopsis of any typical job that will be asked to be performed while a member of the ARCC maintenance crew. 2 years of landscape/golf course maintenance is preferred but not necessary. Adequate onsite training will be provided to the employee for the use of all tools/equipment and mechanized machinery. All grounds crew employees are under the direct supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendents. Specific duties listed below will be a part of the training for the employee. Specific Duties include but are not limited to: • Ability to walk a specific mowing route • Ability to navigate a motorized golf cart • Ability to operate a string trimmer • Ability to operate a backpack blower • Ability to follow oral and written directions • Capability to learn how to properly utilize a ride on mower in a safe manner • Capability to learn how to use small tools such as rakes and shovels The crew member must be capable of the following physical requirements: • Walking • Driving • Light lifting of at least 50 pounds • Shoveling • Raking
