Join the Coos Watershed Association, Millicoma Marsh Stewardship Group, and other community partners at the Millicoma Marsh on April 18 to kick off a week-long celebration of Earth Week in Coos County! The Millicoma Marsh is one of the last remaining salt marshes along the Coos estuary and is home to a number of special plants and animals. Our goal for this work party will be to remove as many non-native species as possible so the native species can thrive! Specific targets will include ivy, blackberry, holly, and Scotch broom.
