Health in the City is a completely FREE event for the community. Join us for COVID-19 vaccines scheduling, food, yoga, tai chi, and more. Join Us April 24th, 2021 in the Asian District's Military Park for an open-air - socially distanced - Day of Wellness. Health in The City is a completely FREE event. Here is what's happening: FREE COVID-19 VACCINE SCHEDULING for the Community with Camino Clinic! 8-9AM - MORNING MINDFULNESS WITH COSMIC FLORA CRYSTAL CO. - All ages and levels welcome. Please wear masks, comfortable clothing, and shoes. 9-10AM - YOGA WITH ALICE WOLF. - All ages and levels welcome. Please wear masks, comfortable clothing, and shoes. 10-11AM - TAI CHI WITH MASTER DAVID VIDATO - All ages and levels welcome. Please wear masks, comfortable clothing, and shoes. If students have trouble standing for long periods of time, chairs/wheelchairs are welcomed and encouraged. 11AM-12PM - HIIT BOOT CAMP with Meghan and Adam Black of HIIT Fitness OKC. High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) combines shorts bursts of intense cardio and strength exercise with periods of rest or lower-intensity exercise. This will be a high-energy - sweaty class! Bring your own mat and a sweat towel...you'll need it! 1:30-2:30PM - GLUTE GAINS WITH JULIE GUZMAN - All ages and levels welcome. Please wear masks, comfortable clothing, and shoes. If students have trouble standing for long periods of time, chairs/wheelchairs are welcomed and encouraged. 3-4PM SATURSLAY WITH WERKSHOP OKC - All ages and levels welcome. Please wear masks, comfortable clothing, and shoes. If students have trouble standing for long periods of time, chairs/wheelchairs are welcomed and encouraged. There will be children activities including bouncy houses for the whole family to enjoy. This event will be hosted in accordance with The Oklahoma County Health Department guidelines. The OCCHD will be on-site providing information, free PPE , and hand sanitizer for volunteers and guests. In addition to their giveaways, The Oklahoma Medical Reserve Corps will be on-site assisting our partners within the designated Flu Vaccination Area. Masks, temperature, and symptom checks are required before entering the designated areas. ***Must reserve your spot for your vaccine time and fitness classes. This is to help with social distancing efforts and ensuring we are providing a safe environment for our community. On-site registration is available but not guaranteed.***
