General Laborer for Fiber Optic Install Crew

Job Summary & Essential Responsibilities: • Load and unload equipment and materials. • Perform site cleanup as needed. • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment. • Hookup conduits for pullback • Use excavator to dig pits and place underground equipment as necessary. • Fill water trucks and hookup plumbing as needed to support job site operations. • Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe manner. • Run Core Drill for road cuts • Use Hydrovac to locate utilities • Handle and place Fiber Optic Cabling Qualifications • Possess High School Diploma or Equivalency. • Valid driver’s license; • Clean MVR driving record. • Ability to handle physical workload • Work will be based in the general Austin Area moving from neighborhood to neighborhood. • Ability to work with little supervision, while adding to a safe and positive team environment is a must • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements We are looking for team members with a good attitude, flexibility, willingness to work a FULL week, and conscious of safety and situational awareness. Candidates being considered for hire must have a valid driver's license, consent to an MVR, drug screen, and pass a background check. MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION to get to construction site!!!
