Description

We are a high-volume custom crating, packaging, and shipping company looking for hardworking individuals who either have some experience with basic power tools, and/or basic carpentry skills, and/or packaging experience to work as a Crating & Packaging Technician in our warehouse. This position involves building custom wooden and corrugated cardboard crates and packaging items in our warehouse. Items range from delicate high-end artwork to large industrial machinery. This position may also weigh and measure items received in our warehouse prior to packaging. In addition to warehouse work, this position may involve crating and packaging items onsite and loading and unloading trucks. Qualifications: • Prefer some basic carpentry skills or may have experience with basic power tools to include: o Panel saw, Table saw, Chop saw, Band saw, Various Hand Saws o Pneumatic Nail Guns / Tools o Drills • We will provide training for crate building, packaging, and warehouse procedures • Must have a clear understanding of using a tape measure • Must have a strong attention to detail and perform high quality work • Must have a desire to learn with the ability to take direction and accept constructive feedback • Must be a team player and able to work in fast paced environment meeting customer deadlines • Must be reliable and punctual • Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs and load items on and off a truck when necessary Pay and Benefits: • Pay = $16.00/hr to start (pay increases commensurate with experience and performance) • Paid holidays – after 90 days of employment • Paid Sick Time – after 90 days of employment • One-week paid vacation - after one year of service • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits - first of the month following 30 days of employment – employer pays a portion of the cost • Participation in retirement plan with company match – after 90 days of employment • Room for advancement and growth with the company • Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm If interested, please submit your resume to [email protected].
