Maximum of 12 people per hike.NATIONAL PARK SERVICE:10:00AM – FDR Hike (Ranger Dave) Little-known and seldom-seen aspects of the Roosevelt estate; 2.5 miles on gravel carriage roads, some hills.Meeting Place: Home of FDR, Wallace Visitor Center parking area 11:00AM - FDR: Tree Farmer (Ranger Will) Land along the Farm Lane Trail was acquired by the President for planting his crop of trees and what he learned here informed his actions as he responded to the dust storms in the country's heartland during the early years of his administration. Easy walk on mostly flat gravel road.Meeting Point: Rt 9 Farm Lane Trailhead. 1:00PM – Vanderbilt 3 Mile Loop (Ranger Dimitri) Vanderbilt Three Mile Loop. This round-trip hike takes you across the Vanderbilt's manicured landscapes, down to the old carriage trail along the Hudson River and back to the Mansion by way of the formal gardens. Family-friendly nature hike to explore the fauna and flora on the Creek Trail 0.3 miles yellow and Col Rogers Loop Trail 0.9 miles red trails. Easy walking on carriage roads. Meeting Point: Terwilliger parking lot **This is a rain or shine event**
