As a Custodian contracting with our Morgan Hill, CA client, you will have responsibility for sweeping/mopping floors, vacuum carpets, and high dusting and remove cob webs, cleaning/disinfecting restrooms, cleaning/sanitizing break areas, etc. The main goal is to keep our buildings in a safe, clean and orderly condition. This position will be working the Swing shift. Key Responsibilities include: Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.) Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Make adjustments and minor repairs Stock and maintain supply closets Cooperate with the rest of the staff Follow all health and safety regulations Reporting to the Facilities Night Supervisor based in Morgan Hill, CA Requirements: Minimum of 5 years proven working experience as a janitor/custodian Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery Ability to lift 50 to 60 pounds Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets Integrity and ability to work independently
